They’re really good

They’re really good, but they aren’t odor-proof even when tied in a knot, so put the lid on the box and dispose of the bag in the trash can as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for your honest feedback on our BAG BUNDLE! We’re glad you generally like the bags, but the issue of odor development is, of course, an important one.

Since our bags are made from biodegradable cornstarch, they’re breathable. That’s great for the environment, but unfortunately it also means that odors can diffuse through them over time after tying the knot. You’re doing exactly the right thing: put the lid on the BOXIO TOILET so the box itself acts as an odor barrier, and dispose of the bag at the next opportunity.

Here’s a little tip from us: If you use enough of our BOXIO HEMP LITTER, it will absorb moisture immediately and significantly minimize odor formation from the start. This keeps your van or bus much fresher, even during longer stops!

A Lifesaver

I was at a gas station in Denmark with my VW van. Partly to fill up, and partly to use the restroom. Unfortunately, the gas station had been converted to self-service, with no staff and no restrooms. I was on the verge of wetting my pants .........., since I hadn’t been able to find a restroom beforehand. Fortunately, my last resort was the Boxio restroom, which I always have with me in my newly renovated van. It’s just made of plastic, but when you really need it, it’s worth its weight in gold. My only criticism is the clips on the bottom box—they don’t hold at all and keep falling off, so I’ve removed them now.

Very good

Great size for the bucket, so you still have enough bags left to tie off when the bucket is full. I do find them quite difficult to open, though (you have to shake them or something) when you take them off the roll, and the material takes some getting used to, but since it’s compostable, it’s worth it :)

Working great so far.

I bought this for my semi-truck. Since the new formaldehyde-free chemicals don’t keep the smell down in the other style of portable toilet, I had to try something else. So far, I’m extremely happy with the purchase
